Your LTL/CIS cost
Profile will contain unit costs and statistics developed directly from your general ledger and operating data. Carriers using LTL/CIS for pricing may also have a separate Profile with budgeted or projected unit costs.
Each of your freight terminals will have a separate record in the CIS profile containing specific terminal unit costs, defaulting to your company average. Each terminal profile also contains your specific P&D driving performance by run or location, and all outbound linehaul legs with the specific characteristics of each.

LTL/CIS is available as a stand-alone or Local Area network (LAN) system for Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Both the PC and LAN versions offer a close interface with your main-frame records and systems incorporating "real time" measurements of actual service units consumed by each shipment (P&D stop/driving time and linehaul load factors).
