Initial installation of the Cost Information System creates an LTL/CIS folder under the Windows Programs item on the Start button.
In some windows versions, a desktop folder can be created as well by right clicking, with the cursor on that folder icon, and then selecting Copy on the subsequent menu. Then with the cursor on any open spot on the desktop, right click again and click on the Paste menu item. That subsequent on-screen folder provides more direct CIS access. With other versions of windows, create a desktop folder first and then copy the CIS icons to it.
Since all CIS icons are still available under the Start/Programs options, this new folder can be tailored to include only those programs regularly used.
